Workshops and Training Days
I offer workshops and training for staff and mentors in education, early years, charities, parents or anybody interested in children's emotional health. My specialist subjects include child mental health, giftedness, and trauma-informed practice.
1
Child Mental Health
Would you like to deepen your understanding of early relational trauma and learn how to better support children's emotional health?
Contact me to discuss options for a talk or workshop tailored specifically to your organisation's needs and interests.
I offer talks on early-life trauma and adverse childhood experience (ACEs), and how to promote good emotional health in children and young people through emotion regulation and trauma-informed practice.
2
Giftedness
Would you like to know more about the concept of giftedness? Gifted children require an individualised approach to education that considers their unique abilities, personalities and learning styles.
Additionally, providing information and resources to parents and carers is essential to understanding how to best support these children.
Despite the unique challenges that are faced by our gifted youth, they are incredibly capable. With proper support and resources, they can reach their full potential academically, and socially and emotionally.
3
Trauma-informed practice
Do you run services for children and young people, or work with people in some capacity?
Would you like to learn more about the complexities of trauma and reflect on how you could make your approach more trauma-informed?
If so, you are welcome to get in touch. I can tailor the content to your specific interests and requirements.
